The HazMat Field Driver/Technician Driver will be responsible for proper transportation of various waste streams at various generator sites. Operate Straight Trucks (box trucks) and Tractor Trailers to perform pickups of bulk and containerized hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Performs a variety of duties that comply with government regulations and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems.
Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions.
Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments.
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.

Military members who are selected for the program are not employed by Republic Services or compensated by the Company. The DOD will continue to maintain the military member's current rate of pay and benefits while in the SkillBridge program.
