Microwave Technician On 4th Shift (Weekend Days)

Please note this position supports our Weekend Day Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00AM to 3:00PM. You will work 36 Hours and be paid for 40 Hours plus earn a 10% pay premium.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Our training and development programs provide employees with career advancement in a diverse work environment. The individual selected for this position will build Micro-Electronic sub-assemblies. Working in the Manual cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every micro-electronics module. On the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS.

As a Microwave Technician on 4th Shift (Weekend Days) you will make impacts in the following ways:

• Fabricate and/or modify complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.
• Fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• High School Diploma and/or GED with 1 year of related work experience
• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Experience with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's.
• Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
• Familiar with MIL-STD-883

Full-Time Salary Range: $41024 - $65639
