Plumber Apprentice – Immediate Openings
Location: Des Moines, IA
Pay: $20–$27/hour (Based on years of experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Position Overview: We’re hiring Plumbers at any skill level to join a growing team working on high-demand commercial projects around the Des Moines Metro area. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of water, gas, steam, and fire protection systems in mainly commercial settings. Candidates should be skilled, reliable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced job site.
Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, gas, steam, and fire protection systems

Perform new installations as the primary workload
-
Use tools such as augers, torches, soldering/welding equipment, sewer cameras, and pipe locators

Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing tools and equipment

Collaborate with team members to maneuver heavy equipment

Report maintenance issues and follow safety protocols
Required Skills & Experience
-
Need at least 1+ years of plumbing experience (more experience grants a higher starting wage - commercial preferred)

Proficient with hand tools and impact drivers

Familiar with blueprint reading

Valid driver’s license strongly preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
