Overview
We are seeking a Design Engineer with experience in the metal building/PEMB industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in design engineering for pre-engineered metal buildings and must be proficient with MBS (Metal Building Software) . Candidates who hold an EIT certification and demonstrate the desire and ability to obtain their P.E. license will also be considered.

Overview
We are seeking a Design Engineer with experience in the metal building/PEMB industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in design engineering for pre-engineered metal buildings and must be proficient with MBS (Metal Building Software) . Candidates who hold an EIT certification and demonstrate the desire and ability to obtain their P.E. license will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB).
- Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize MBS software for design and detailing of projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, detailers, and fabrication/erection teams to support project execution.
- Provide engineering guidance and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required, or EIT certification with intent/ability to achieve P.E.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Design Engineer in the metal building/PEMB industry .
- Proficiency in MBS (Metal Building Software) is required.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and practices related to metal buildings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Preference for on-site work.
