Delivery Operations Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50

In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely operating store vehicles to deliver products to our valued professional customers. Essential Job Functions

Deliver parts and products to customers efficiently and safely using company vehicles.
Utilize delivery fleet management hand-held devices for processing deliveries, capturing signatures, and performing daily vehicle inspections.
Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of delivery vehicles, completing inspections daily.
Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected funds at all times.
Pick up customer returns such as new, warranty, and cores, and accurately complete return slips.
Communicate any customer needs or issues to store management effectively.
Report any vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages to the store manager promptly.
Ensure vehicles are fueled, locked, and stored securely at the end of the day.
Adhere to company policy for clocking in and out.
Participate in various additional duties as assigned, including customer service, stocking, and merchandising tasks when needed.
Occasionally assist customers and act as a cashier when business demands it.
Perform all other assigned duties as necessary.

Required Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Ability to quickly and accurately match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Valid state driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with automotive parts.
Capability to operate other light store equipment.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
