Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Day-Care Sports Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee sports and physical activities for children aged 2 to 5 at a local Daycare facility. The ideal candidate will promote a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and physical development through engaging sports programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate sports and physical activities that enhance motor skills, coordination, teamwork.
- Organize and lead weekly sports sessions, ensuring safety and active participation from all children.
- Plan and coordinate special events and fitness activities to promote physical education.
- Monitor childrens progress and provide feedback to parents on their childs development in sports and physical activities.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to integrate physical activities into the overall curriculum.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all sports areas are safe and organized.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children of all skill levels to participate and enjoy sports.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding sports programs and events.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work one or two days per week (for the full duration of the season)
