Overview
Databricks Global Alliance Relationship Director is a role at EY. The ARD is responsible for working with EY-Databricks alliance and sales to manage day-to-day aspects of the Databricks alliance relationship, including relationship collaboration and governance, alliance program oversight, contracts and compliance management, and performance intelligence. This position offers opportunities to collaborate across the globe and across EY service lines and sectors.
Responsibilities
- Execute Databricks Global alliance strategy and objectives
- Facilitate top-to-top Databricks Global relationships and program management to mobilize on strategic bets, accelerate field engagement, and drive action including executing Global Governance Activities
- Drive results through disciplined, global governance with clear accountability across Global level Service Line/practice, sectors, accounts/regions and Databricks counterparts
- Execute Databricks Global Business Reviews feeding insights into Global Databricks Alliance executives
- Deploy Databricks partner programs into Global, driving local activation and compliance
- Gain access to Databricks Global level programs, coordinating with Global Databricks ARD to secure required approvals
- Deliver alliance intelligence with complete and accurate financial reporting, Databricks impact/influence
- Activate new countries and regions ensuring proper governance is in place, e.g. supporting business plans, executive relationships, operating cadence and enabling alliance contracts
- Drive compliance with internal policies and requirements
- Collaborate with Market Enablement team to define marketing messaging and materials for Global level execution; collaborate with local Area alliance and Brand Marketing & Communication executives to execute local alliance marketing activities
- Contributes to the Global Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship network by contributing content, knowledge sharing, and market insights
This role is based in the US and may involve a mix of virtual work plus regular coordination with team members globally. The role will require some travel.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Able to juggle many activities and provide enablement services in relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, operational support; strong relationship-building skills and highly organized
- Understanding of technology and business benefits of relevant alliance partner products and solutions
- Experience in alliance management or business development for technology or professional services
- Experience and evidence of success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
- Strong networking and influence management skills resulting in driving actions to outcomes across organizational boundaries
- Credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and a proven track record delivering alliance sales and revenues

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary ranges: US locations $228,600–$452,600; NYC Metro/Washington State/California ranges $274,300–$514,300. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off
