Construction Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with customers from initial discussions through final execution.

• Review and revise contract terms and conditions to align with company standards and risk tolerance.

• Partner with internal business teams throughout the negotiation process to resolve issues and gain approvals.

• Collaborate with the Legal Department on complex or escalated contract matters.

• Secure business approval for exceptions and unresolved contract concerns.

• Confirm credit approval for contracts exceeding $100,000.

• Execute and return signed contracts up to $1 million.

• Maintain accurate contract records in Salesforce, including insurance certificates, bonds, and other documentation.

• Coordinate the issuance of payment, performance, and supply bonds as required.

• Request and review insurance certificates to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Conduct semi-annual reviews of bonds to assess job completion status.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract review, including at least 2 years in contract negotiation.

• Background in construction-related contract analysis preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
