We're looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Contract Specialist to join our team and help manage and negotiate contracts for a variety of IT projects. You'll work closely with engineers, legal teams, and vendors to ensure our contracts are fair, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Type: 9 month contract

Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ years)

What You'll Do:

• Review, redline, and negotiate IT-related contracts including:
• Software licenses
• SaaS/XaaS agreements
• Professional services
• Hardware and telecom
• Data licensing and more
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical leads, legal, risk, tax) and external counsel to ensure contracts meet company standards.
• Translate complex technical needs into clear, enforceable contract terms.
• Help protect the company's interests while supporting project success.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience negotiating technology contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience redlining contracts using tools like Microsoft Word (Track Changes).
• Strong understanding of IT contract types and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in ambiguity.
