Head of Illinois Land Development - LVI Associates
Currently seeking a qualified and entrepreneurial-minded Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a well known engineering team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values autonomy, and is committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead commercial and industrial land development civil engineering projects
- Coordinate with technical staff, subcontractors, and consultants
- Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for design and drafting
- Perform site planning and civil engineering design
- Design stormwater detention and sewer systems using specialized software
- Manage permitting processes with various regulatory agencies
- Maintain and develop client relationships
- Support training and development of technical and operational staff
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
- Organize and manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Qualifications
- Professional licensure preferred (PE)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in land development civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and land development practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Proven ability to manage projects independently from inception to completion
- Strong organizational and communication skills
