Join our Team as a Bilingual Cashier! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to greet and thank every customer as they enter and exit our store. As a Bilingual Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while managing cashiering tasks with precision. You will need to stay organized and maintain a clean work environment, and your readiness to assist with various store operations will contribute to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embrace our company culture and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Conduct cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures.
- Master all cashiering transactions, including:
- Cash Sales
- Check Sales
- Non-taxable sales
- Credit Card Transactions
- Voids
- Exchanges
- Record all sales and cash at the time of the transaction.
- Assist in stocking merchandise and organizing the store.
- Encourage additional purchases and promote current store specials.
- Arrive at work in a timely manner, neatly groomed, and in proper attire.
- Stay vigilant about security at all times.
- Respond knowledgeable to phone inquiries regarding sales, promotions, store location, pricing, and inventory.
- Stay informed about current promotions and their details.
- Participate in inventory control, particularly with boots.
- Check for mismatched boots.
- Follow company protocols for commission sales and validate all sales tickets.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift or lower items regularly throughout the shift.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
- Ability to follow basic instructions and interpret documents.
- Strong comprehension and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and create reports as needed.
- Vigilance and alertness during assigned work hours are necessary.
