Responsibilities

• Act as the contact person for recruitment and interfaces with all other organizations or facilities in regard to recruitment and service delivery systems of A Place to Call Home, as applicable
• Track recruitment processes/progress for reporting purposes, both internal and external, including but not limited to, Home Recruitment Study Supervision requirements
• Coordinate volunteers for the District for such events as the Quarterly Support meetings, May Appreciation Event, Holiday Party and any other office project or event, as applicable, for the purpose of cost-effectiveness, support, community awareness
• Generate interest in foster care licensure and adoption certification utilizing industry standard avenues and implementing new and creative means to meet/exceed Agency recruitment goals of at least 15 potential foster families each training cycle that include a percentage combination for each contracted licensing category among the attending foster families, as well as Agency retention goals
• Field internal and external inquiries for initial licensure and certification and conduct initial screening on all new inquiries within one business day of receipt of the original inquiry
• Assess Families interested in transferring to A Place To Call Home from other agencies for eligibility, training needs, etc. and present to the Director for approval and conduct Pre-Screening/Pre-Service home visits of interested Families and present assessment of their skill level, preliminary fitness as foster/adoptive parent(s) and eligibility to the Director for approval; and conduct recruitment staffing with Director/Program Coordinator(s)/assigned Family Specialist to review families approved to attend Orientation and begin initial training
• Generate and submit targeted recruitment proposals/plans according to identified needs and timelines and complete Targeted Recruitment reports per contract requirements
• Plan and execute external activities/presentations (churches, community, civic) for the purpose of recruiting potential Foster/Adoptive Families and generating community awareness of A Place To Call Home and foster care/adoption
• Seek out marketing opportunities by meeting with community and business representatives, identify potential marketing locations, develop marketing plans, assess plans for cost-effectiveness and provide input on promotional materials
• Maintain current inventory information for promotional materials on-hand and submit proposals for replenishing supplies as appropriate; coordinate between Districts to order items in bulk to minimize cost including family gifts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or any combination of education and experience equivalent to required knowledge base of child/adult developmental service delivery systems
• Experience in marketing, social media, event planning/coordination, service/sales and recruitment
• Able to maintain a clear record through Department of Economic Security Central Registry of any reports of child abuse and neglect

Salary Range: USD $18.00 - $21.00 / Hour
