Benefits Analyst and Account Manager

As a pivotal member of our team, you will enhance client satisfaction, engagement, and retention by acting as a trusted onsite representative for our public sector clients.

In this role, you will:

• Research and Resolve: Address member inquiries and escalations regarding benefits, claims, eligibility, and policy interpretation by identifying root causes and coordinating with internal departments to deliver timely, accurate solutions.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary onsite liaison for designated public sector accounts, cultivating strong relationships with plan sponsors, benefits teams, and key stakeholders.
• Onsite Engagement: Provide real-time support to plan sponsors and members across various client worksites, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer service experience.
• Event Management & Representation: Organize and lead open enrollment meetings, employee health fairs, wellness events, and other educational engagements to inform members about their benefits and services.
• Reporting & Analytics: Analyze data related to claims, utilization, and service issues, communicating insights to clients to support transparency and decision-making.
• Benefits Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of client-specific benefits and CVS Health systems, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
• Issue Escalation & Follow-up: Collaborate with internal teams to track and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely follow-through on escalations.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all interactions align with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations while maintaining clear records of client interactions.
• Travel & Territory Management: Regularly travel to client sites throughout Charlotte County and manage scheduling and communication independently, prioritizing stakeholder needs.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Active Florida Health, Life, and Variable Annuity Insurance License (or the ability to obtain it within 120 days of hire).
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 1-2 years of experience in health insurance, healthcare services, or client/account management.
• Familiarity with managed care processes, healthcare sales, or pharmacy benefits.
• Demonstrated experience with client-facing roles, particularly in public sector or union accounts.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.

Education:

A High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred. Additional training in healthcare, insurance, or customer service is a plus.
