Join our compassionate team as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Lancaster Family Health Center!
The Behavioral Health Specialist will deliver integral behavioral health services within our primary care framework, supporting clients facing complex or chronic challenges. Whether you are a PsyD/PhD clinical psychologist or an independently licensed Master's-level mental health therapist, your role will be vital in enhancing our patients' well-being.

With over 40 clinics across Washington and Oregon, we offer a wide array of services, including medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and much more. Our holistic approach extends to community support services such as shelter, nutrition, and mobile clinics.
Position Highlights:
- Clinical Psychologist:
- $9,000 hiring bonus paid in your first paycheck.
- Annual compensation of $110,700.
- Master's-level Therapist:
- $4,500 hiring bonus in first paycheck, $1,800 bonus at 12 months.
- Annual compensation of $92,250.
- Relocation assistance available—ask for details!
- 0.9 FTE (36 hours, Monday-Thursday).

Your Responsibilities will Include:
- Providing on-site behavioral health services within a primary care clinic.
- Consulting with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
- Being a primary mental health provider or supplementary health provider as needed.
- Collaborating with the care team to address patient diagnoses and perspectives.
- Utilizing evidence-based practices for shared decision-making with patients.
- Working closely with an interdisciplinary team on patient care plans.
- Conducting training for staff and community organizations within your areas of expertise.
- Participating in research-related initiatives and funding proposals.
- Helping to triage patient referrals in partnership with other providers.
- Providing coverage for fellow providers as necessary.
- Completing other assigned duties as required.
- Ensuring clinical responsibilities align with relevant regulatory standards.
- Representing the program in various meetings as needed.
- Contributing to the development of new programming and projects related to behavioral health.
Qualifications:
For Clinical Psychologists:
- Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.
- Preferred Experience: One year in a multidisciplinary team within primary care or a medical setting, providing diagnostic assessments, and a year working with children and families in behavioral health settings.
- Licensure: Licensed Psychologist in the relevant state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days of hire.
For Master's Level Therapists:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Required Experience: Two years of supervised experience in direct mental health treatment.
- Licenses: One of the following required (to apply for within one week of hire):
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Additional Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred but not mandatory.
