Location: Orlando Regional Medical Center, Downtown Orlando, Florida
Shift: MidShift (Including rotating weekends and holidays)
Position Summary: Are you a dedicated and experienced nursing professional looking to take on a leadership role? As an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) at Orlando Regional Medical Center, youll play a crucial role in overseeing the Multisystem PCU unit. Youll work closely with the Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager to drive excellence in patient care, operational efficiency, and staff development. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of patient care while contributing to our commitment to quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the designated unit, ensuring high standards in nursing practice and patient care.
- Collaborate on budgetary performance, human resources activities, and quality outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of shared leadership and continuous improvement.
- Enhance the customer experience and drive positive outcomes for both patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Education/Training:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or BSN with a graduate degree in Business or a health-related field preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications may be required based on patient population, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years as a Registered Nurse in an acute setting.
