• Work in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of a hospital setting,
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30,
• Strict dress code with navy blue scrubs required,
• No blocked scheduling permitted,
• No floating or on-call details specified,
Job Requirements
• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration,
• Minimum 2 years of recent Coronary Care or ICU experience required,
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI required (such as BLS/ACLS as implied by specialty),
• Epic EMR experience required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months allowed,
• Must have a US Social Security Number; Canadian SIN not accepted,
• Medical documentation required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted,
• Must not reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties,
Additional Information
• Competency testing required for ICU with two attempts to pass,
• More than three call outs in a 13-week contract period will result in contract termination, and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks of the last call out,
• Requests for time off must be submitted with application,
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment,
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time,
• Navy blue scrubs are required for all shifts
