Full Job Description
Supports the Superintendent in executing construction activities, ensuring tasks align with project specifications.
Daily Duties:
- Assist the Superintendent in supervising all construction activities.
- Assist with scheduling of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate for each task.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Aid in ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in monitoring expenditure and ensuring it remains within budget.
- Collaborate with subcontractor superintendents, foreman, and project managers.
- 2+ years of experience in a supporting role in construction
- Able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and building codes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Strong tablet, mobile device skills.
- Time management skills.
- Technical license or diploma in construction trade or similar field experience.
- Industry-specific certifications would be beneficial.
