IT Project Manager A
Cognizant Technology Solutions U.S. Corporation, IT Project Manager A, position located in College Station, TX. Manage IT project execution to comply with schedule, scope and/or budget, which may include conferring with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve problems, including requirements gathering and technical and/or functional specifications, monitoring and tracking milestones and software and/or related deliverables, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. May assess current and prospective business needs of customers, and strategize priorities via communication with all internal and external stakeholders. May initiate, review and/or modify project plans. May schedule and/or facilitate meetings related to information technology and/or related deliverables. May direct and/or coordinate resources assigned to deliverables, and continuously identify resource requirements. May develop implementation plans that include analysis, such as cost-benefit or return on investment. Use agile, waterfall or other IT project management methodology within a global delivery model. May manage at least 1 IT or other professional depending on assignment. Engage in short and/or long-term travel; and/or relocation to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Multiple full-time positions available. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a computer-related fields of study, engineering, sciences, technology, math, business, or a closely related field, and 12 months of experience in the job offered or alternate occupation (e.g., any job title with required experience) within a software environment (excluding desktop and hardware services). In lieu of bachelor's degree, we will accept 3y of post-secondary education and 2y of work experience in the same or similar position. Experience managing IT project execution to comply with schedule, scope and/or budget. Must have experience using agile, waterfall, or other IT project management methodology within a global delivery model. Substantial long and/or short-term travel; and/or relocation to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. for position based/reporting to College Station, Texas required. Certain travel and/or relocation expenses, depending on assignment, paid by employer.
