Accounting Specialist

We’re hiring Accounting Specialists to support key financial operations including billing, remittances, and invoice processing. This role is PRIMARLIY REMOTE and candidates must be located in the Canton, Akron, or Cleveland areas.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review accounting transactions (invoices, remittances, checks)

• Resolve discrepancies in financial data

• Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries

• Review general ledger activity for accuracy

• Assist in documenting accounting procedures

• Collaborate with other departments

• (Sr.-level) Mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required

• Associate Degree in Business or Accounting preferred for advanced roles

Experience Levels:

• Entry-Level: 6–12 months of office or administrative experience

• Mid-Level: 2+ years in accounting or invoice processing

• Sr. -Level: Associate Degree + 5 years, or HS/GED + 8 years of accounting experience

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred

• Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills

• Ability to multitask and adapt to change

• Basic computer literacy required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
