Accounting Assistant Job in Mission Valley (San Diego), CA
$ 25 - $ 31 / Hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our client's team in Mission Valley, CA. This role offers the opportunity to support key accounting functions with a focus on accounts receivable, reconciliations, and special projects. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $25-$31 an hour.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections (priority on collection calls).
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams and clients to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with special projects and accounting clean-up tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Hands-on experience with accounts receivable, collections, and QBO bank reconciliations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
