1st Shift CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift CNC Machinist to join our team. This role requires expertise in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, along with a strong ability to read blueprints. The ideal candidate will be familiar with calipers and micrometers and possess a keen attention to detail in machine operations.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machine operation.
• Utilize calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Perform machine operations on mills, lathes, and drill presses.
• Ensure quality control and precision in tool and die applications.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Experience using calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with drill presses and CNC machine operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with tool and die applications.
• Ability to work with water jets and other machine tools.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakmont, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
