To meet this increase in production, there are currently openings for skilled milling machinists with backgrounds in fanuc or mazak controls, CNC mill programming, exotic hard metals machining, first piece production and adherence to very tight tolerances. Work schedules average 45 to 48 hours Monday through Friday on the dayshift with Saturday work available as well. Requirements Journeyman-level experience a plus Experience modifying programs (Okuma preferred) GD&T knowledge a plus Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Experience machining nickel alloys a plus Experience machining castings a plus High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in machining preferred. Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
