Are you an experienced ARRT or Limited License X-Ray Technologist? Physicians Care is currently seeking dedicated professionals to enhance our team. We are part of Urgent Team, a recognized leader in urgent and family care across the Southeast, with 12 locations in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
About Physicians Care:
Our walk-in centers offer a wide range of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week to serve our patients better, operating Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All our centers are Accredited Care Centers, underlining our commitment to safety and quality in our services.
Key Responsibilities:
As an X-Ray Technician, your main tasks include:
- Performing timely radiology procedures for physician evaluation and treatment.
- Executing necessary quality control to ensure excellent examination standards.
- Preparing patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to clinical and regulatory protocols for patient safety.
- Ensuring all equipment functions properly and reporting any malfunctions to the Area Manager or on-duty provider.
- Documenting patient visits accurately and following established protocols.
- Maintaining and enhancing your knowledge of diagnostic imaging through continued education.
- Keeping your licensure and certifications current for the facility’s radiology equipment.
What We Require:
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification.
- TN State X-Ray License.
- ARRT Certification preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
