As a Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Clerk, you will play a vital role in a large warehouse functioning as a third-party logistics provider for government clients. Your main responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, creating kits, shipping parts, and ensuring quality control. You will primarily work at a desk utilizing computers for data entry, inventory management, and creating shipping labels using SAP. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be handling parts for an FAA client, requiring precise verification of parts and serial numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Receive stock into the computer system and verify product details.
• Repack and print shipping labels for outgoing shipments.
• Utilize the computer system to locate parts within the warehouse.
• Pick items from their locations to create orders.
• Operate forklifts or reach trucks once brought on permanently.
• Work collaboratively in a small team of three.
• Balance clerical work with warehouse floor activities, adapting to workload variations.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, specifically in shipping and receiving.
• High proficiency with computers and data entry.
• Ability to operate a forklift or reach truck.
• Strong attention to detail and quality checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an aviation warehouse is preferred.
• Motivated and willing to learn and adapt.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory management.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

You will work in a very large, non-climate-controlled warehouse. The role involves 75% desk work and 25% on your feet moving parts around. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and you will work in a small team of three.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
