The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, rotating, issuing, and delivery of all goods for the resort, while upholding company policies and promoting a culture of excellence. This role ensures product quality, accuracy in inventory documentation, and efficient coordination with vendors and internal departments.

The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for the receiving, storing, rotating, issuing, handling, and delivering of all goods for the company according to company policy while promoting a culture of excellence. Responsible for preparing for deliveries, ensuring all receiving work sheets, inventory requisitions are filed accordingly by vendor delivery schedule. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices, and procedures.

Position responsibilities/duties include:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications for quality, quantity, and accuracy.
• Organize, label, and rotate stock according to established inventory and food safety standards, including "Use First" and expiration management.
• Conduct temperature and quality checks on all refrigerated, frozen, and perishable items; report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensure all deliveries are processed, logged, and routed to the correct departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse, loading dock, and receiving areas at all times.
• Operate manual and motorized equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with Procurement and other departments to ensure seamless product flow from receiving to storage and distribution.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, requisitions, and vendor documentation.
• Handle returns, substitutions, and damaged goods professionally and in accordance with procedures.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism when interacting with vendors, drivers, and internal team members.
• Support inventory counts, warehouse reorganization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Education & Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass background screening
• Forklift certification (OSHA) or ability to obtain prior to start (will train)
• Combination of education and experience will be considered
• High school education or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years Hotel/Resort and/or warehouse environment experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highest level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork
• Work in a safe, wary, and organized manner
• Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
• Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
• Sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
