The Position

1. The Vice President of Finance, Medical Group, will oversee the daily operations, long-term planning, and strategic direction of the financial departments driving operational excellence and financial efficiency while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 15+ FTEs and will play a critical role in enhancing department efficiency by standardizing and consolidating processes where applicable. Additionally, the VP will utilize technology, management, and analytical skills to effectively ensure financial stabilization throughout both the department, as well as the organization.
3. Ideal candidates will possess strong emotional intelligence and the ability to maintain positive, collaborative working relationships. Previous experience in medical group operations within a progressive or acute care setting is essential.
4. The VP of Finance will create a positive working environment, leading the team with a focus on engagement and culture, and will provide effective tools and training to ensure that reporting, compliance, funding, and audit initiatives are met.
5. Seeking a knowledgeable leader with strong organization and prioritization skills to ensure strong business and financial acumen.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Master's degree and/or CPA is required.
• A minimum of 10+ years of finance experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in a medical group setting, is required.
• Multispecialty medical group experience is strongly preferred.
