The Metrology Laboratory Supervisor plays a vital role in Ford's prototype and launch operations by leading a team of UAW Layout Inspectors focused on dimensional verification of both prototype and production components. This position ensures that critical measurement data is accurately captured and communicated to support engineering and manufacturing teams during early product development and launch phases. Working closely with the New Model Product Development Center (NMPDC), the supervisor helps enable successful DCV builds and contributes to the readiness of New Product Launches across North American manufacturing sites. The role is instrumental in identifying potential dimensional issues before they impact downstream processes, thereby safeguarding product quality and ensuring alignment with Ford's engineering standards.
