Scope Of Work

As an Inpatient Supervisor, you will be both a clinical leader and a mentor, balancing bedside care with administrative responsibilities. You will serve as a clinical resource, coach, and guide for a team that thrives on learning and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 40 staff across multiple roles.
• Provide clinical support, mentorship, and coachingespecially for newer nurses.
• Act as a clinical resource for stroke and epilepsy care.
• Oversee unit operations, staffing, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate on program development, goal setting, and project execution.
• Participate in weekend rotations every 69 weeks.
• Work an on-site schedule: two 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and two 8-hour shifts weekly, blending bedside care, leadership, and administrative duties.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Michigan RN license.
• NIH Stroke certification obtained within ninety days of hire.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Saving certification.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in nursing.
• 1+ year of related clinical experience in area of specialty.
• 1+ year of experience leading teams or in a supervisory capacity.
