Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Sonographer for a 13-week outpatient assignment performing a variety of vascular assessments and procedures, with weekday shifts and no weekend or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient vascular surgery office with occasional coverage at offsite locations
• Patient caseload ranges from 8-12 exams per day, depending on the day of the week
• Procedures include Dopplers, carotid studies, ABIs, venous and aortic Dopplers, DVTs, varicose vein assessments, vein mapping, and occasional EVLTs
• Monday–Friday schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in main office, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM in offsite offices
• No weekend or on-call shifts required
• Float to different medical offices as needed
• Minor holiday coverage is required
• Locals living within 75 miles are accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted up front
• Mandatory overtime may be required as part of staff rotation pool

• Ability to perform listed vascular exams and procedures
