This role is crucial, performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology to examine tissues and body structures, providing vital images for physician interpretation. As an integral part of our outpatient facility, this position is 100% clinical, requiring expertise in both obstetrics and gynecology exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic procedures by positioning patients, selecting appropriate transducers, and utilizing correct scanning sequences to produce accurate images.
• Ensure optimal technical quality and accuracy of all ultrasound examinations following American College of Radiology (ACR) and FDA quality control standards.
• Assemble sterile trays and perform scrub duties as necessary.
• Accurately input data into electronic medical records, RIS, and PACS to capture essential information regarding exams and clinical details.
• Transfer accurately annotated images into PACS.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• RDMS OB/GYN certification with ARDMS credentials
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 6 months of experience in an Ultrasound hospital setting is preferred
