Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with current ARRT and NJ State RT license for a travel assignment requiring scrub and STEMI call experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with four 10-hour shifts per week
• Must participate in STEMI on-call rotation during weekdays and 1 to 2 weekends per month
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• EPIC charting system is used
• Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of imaging equipment
• Monitor patient comfort, procedure safety, and coordinate daily imaging procedures
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Assignment is limited to one calendar year per traveler, with a mandatory 30-60 day break before returning
• Scrub attire required

Requirements

• Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Must be able to scrub procedures
