Position Summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Chemo-Certified Oncology RN to join their Oncology Float Pool. This role involves floating across oncology units and supporting IMC, MS/Tele, and holding areas as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong chemotherapy administration skills and experience managing oncologic emergencies and complex cancer diagnoses.

Key Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years required
- Previous charge experience preferred
Certifications:
- Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC)
- Preferred: OCN
Skills Required:
- Chemotherapy administration (IV push, oral, continuous infusion)
- Biotherapy and cytotoxic therapy
- Management of oncologic emergencies (ATLS, sepsis, spinal cord compression)
- Port and central line care
- Pain and symptom management
- Psychosocial support and hospice care
- Familiarity with solid and liquid tumor diagnoses
EMR: Epic (experience required)
Travel Experience: Not required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
