Position Description:
CGI is actively seeking a developer to provide O&M support. As a Sunflower developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Sunflower application augmentations and integrations, application patching, and code maintenance. You will work closely with our functional team to design, develop, test, and deploy Sunflower solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This position is located at a client site office location in Washington, DC.

The Application Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining both new and existing application augmentations and integrations. Whether you're troubleshooting a software defect, enhancing an existing application or developing a new solution you should be able to dig into frameworks and libraries to deliver coherent solutions in line with the overall architecture of the application landscape. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, interpersonal skills, and must have demonstrated effective communication skills.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Academic background in computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Shell, Java, and Javascript
• Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to learn and understand the nature of business
• Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• GIT source control
• JIRA experience
• ERP software experience
• API
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $134,100.00.
