Job Description

This is an adaptive acuity unit requiring a highly skilled Registered Nurse. Occasionally, travelers will be asked to provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care, which is non-negotiable and must be accepted. Experience with drips is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a ratio of 1 RN to 5 patients.
• Deliver PCU care as needed, adhering to unit protocols.
• Float to any inpatient unit as required, within the scope of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current med-surg/tele experience.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• Strong PCU experience is highly preferred.
• Drip experience is required.
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have at least 3 months previous travel experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
