Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Facility: The University of Vermont Medical Center
Location: VT 05401

Assignment Length: 16 weeks (extension to 32 weeks possible)

Shift Options: Day: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) / Night: 4x10-Hour (17:00 - 03:00)

Weekend Requirement: 1 shift every 4 weeks (12-hour shift)

Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of the 4 major holidays if scheduled

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• Level I Trauma experience (required)
• Must be able to both circulate and scrub
• Travel nursing experience required – no first-time travelers
• Experience in teaching hospital environment
• Epic charting system experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable)
• Valid BLS (required) and ACLS (preferred) certifications

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience in a wide variety of specialties (must be able to scrub and circulate in most):

• General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, CVT, GU, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Dental, Ophthalmology
• Familiarity with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci, MAKO, etc.)
• Previous use of Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Experience in transplant and open-heart surgeries preferred (RNs circulate all specialties except CVOR)
