Job Location:Randallstown, MD 21133ACLS, BLS, NIH RequiredMin 2 years exp requiredEvery other weekendAccepts 1st time travelersPatient Ratios: 4-5 based on pt acuityFloat required: YScrubs: Navy BlueRequired Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula , Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masksSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:*Peritoneal Dialysis*Telemetry (RN to interpret & document rhythm)*Non-titratable Drips include: Amiodarone, Diltilizem Cardiazem, Amiodarone & Lasix.*Heparin - Heparin drip nursing protocol*Code Team Responders (recorders & time keepers)*Stroke certified unit- Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:4, but RN should be expected to take 1:5 based on acuity and downgrades- if floated to non tele med surg unit patient ratio is 1:6PCU/Telemetry Cardiac Monitoring - Admits from NWH ED, direct admits from Grace Medical Center, transfers from non-tele units:Total Hourly Pay Rate: $61.75 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $18.00 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $43.75 Per Hour Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,223.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $648.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,575.00 Per Week
