Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM with rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a 400+ bed facility. The ideal candidate will possess both open and endoscopic surgical skills, as well as experience in vascular and neurosurgery. Robotic experience is mandatory for all candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including general, neuro, open vascular, endovascular, urology, ENT, oral maxillofacial, and robotic surgeries.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment during surgical procedures.
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience; 2 years preferred.
- Robotic surgery experience is mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Current Virginia RN licensure required.
- Experience scrubbing in surgical cases is preferred.
Patient Population
This position will involve working with patients undergoing general, neuro, open vascular, endovascular, urology, ENT, oral maxillofacial, and robotic surgeries, as well as a few pediatric cases for ENT and labor & delivery.
