In our 1:1 ABA setting, you will engage directly with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques within a nurturing center environment. You will work alongside a passionate team with top-notch supervision and ongoing training, making a valuable impact each day!
Your Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist Will Include:
- Applying one-on-one ABA therapy principles to assist children with Autism in reaching their fullest potential. This involves implementing treatment plans, documenting observations, and applying feedback during supervision.
- Supporting the development of young children through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
- Collaborating with your team to ensure treatment effectiveness, safety, and a fun workplace atmosphere.
- Engaging children through various play-based activities, which may involve running, dancing, reading, or playing with toys, ensuring a joyful and energetic environment.
- Communicating effectively and positively with peers, families, and supervisors to celebrate successes and coordinate activities.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift and engage with children in a dynamic setting, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to maintain engagement and safety.
- Keeping therapy environments organized and conducive to a fun and stimulating experience for children.
- Multitasking effectively to handle multiple tasks and assess priority and safety for everyone involved.
- Collaborating as a team across centers, including possible travel to nearby locations when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of the RBT certification process is required within 20 days of employment, which includes a 40-hour training program, hands-on assessments, and passing the board exam.

Compensation Ranges Based on Experience & Education:
- High School/Associates: $16.20 - $23.50
- Bachelor's: $17.50 - $27.00
- Master's: $19.00 - $28.00
For entry-level candidates, your first raise occurs upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days!
Experience in Any of the Following is a Plus:
- Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
- Mental health roles (behavioral technicians, advocates)
- Camps or volunteer work (counselors, Sunday school teachers)
- Degrees in relevant fields like special education, sociology, psychology, etc.
- Previous experience as paraprofessionals or direct support assistants
- A passion for working with children on the Autism Spectrum
- A desire to be a part of a caring, team-oriented culture
