Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts/week

Position Overview:

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a short-term 8-week night shift assignment. The nurse will provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Must be skilled in vaginal exams, circulating C-sections, and recovering spinal anesthesia cases. Strong communication, clinical, and problem-solving skills required.

Certifications Required:

Active NY RN License (must be current at time of submission)
BLS (AHA)
NRP (AHA)

Experience Required:

Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience
Must be able to perform:
- Vaginal exams
- Circulate C-sections
- Recover spinal anesthesia
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response capabilities
Ability to function well in high-stress environments
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
