**Job Title: Level 3 RN - Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal**

**Shift: 5x8.0 (Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 8 PM; on-call required for overnights and weekends)**

**Contract Duration: 17 Weeks**

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal (GI) care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to patient inquiries and address their concerns promptly and compassionately.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients pre- and post-procedure.
- Administer sedation to patients prior to endoscopic procedures.
- Oversee patient recovery following procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Deliver prescribed medication and maintain accurate documentation, including patient notes and discharge summaries.
- Prepare necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for each procedure, ensuring all items are clean and sterilized.
- Assist physicians during procedures, providing support and intervention as needed.
- Administer IV drips and monitor patient responses.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid NY State RN License is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Endoscopy or GI nursing is highly desired.
- Telemetry experience is essential.
