Mammography Technologist – Day Shift

Position Summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic breast biopsies, and DEXA scans in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Hologic and GE equipment and meet all regulatory and training requirements for mammography.

Key Requirements

• Experience:
  • 1 year preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted
• Certifications:
  • Required: ARRT (R), ARRT (M), BLS
  • Additional documentation required:
    • 8 hours of 2D Digital Mammography training
    • 8 hours of 3D Digital Mammography training
    • Mammography certificate or attestation
    • Initial mammography training documentation
    • Proof of 200 procedures in past 24 months
    • 15 CE credits in mammography
• Skills Required:
  • Screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Stereotactic breast biopsy
  • DEXA scans
  • Radiation safety and universal precautions
• Equipment Experience:
  • Hologic 3D
  • Hologic Affirm BX
  • GE systems
• EMR: Epic (preferred)
• Travel Experience: Not required
