Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for performing Interventional, Neuro and Endovascular procedures including technical, procedural, and equipment performance, patient care and education, and interfacing with various clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in invasive procedure tasks, providing digital imaging and support during embolization, stenting, and other vascular interventions.
• Support Interventionalists in all procedures, including diagnostics and treatments, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment, ensuring proper handling of instruments and patient positioning.
• Administer contrast media as directed by physicians and maintain compliance with safety standards regarding radiation protection.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing explanations of procedures and handling queries.
• Document pertinent medical information and report reactions or changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse.
• Maintain knowledge of interventional supplies, equipment functionality, and adhere to quality control measures.
• Participate in regulatory compliance and quality improvement documentation.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and properly maintained.
• Manage patient scheduling and follow-up documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required)
• Experience: Relevant experience in Interventional Radiology
• Certification: Certified Radiology Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
