About the Role: As a Temporary Operations Technical Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring our tax offices are fully prepared for a successful tax season. This dynamic role involves hands-on operational and technical tasks that are vital for the seamless functioning of our office network.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Performing basic building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and ceiling tiles, cleaning HVAC vents, and handling minor electrical repairs.
- Delivering supplies and materials promptly to various tax office locations.
- Assisting in the annual setup and closing of seasonal tax offices by organizing office displays, ensuring cleanliness, and confirming compliance with brand standards.
- Providing ongoing support for PC hardware setup and troubleshooting across multiple locations.
- Maintaining an inventory of district resources while tracking and managing spare computer equipment.
- Documenting hardware issues and their resolutions, and staying updated on technical knowledge relevant to the department.
- Participating in all required training and performing additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Suite applications, including virtual tools.
- Basic IT knowledge with a capacity to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware.
- Reliable transportation to travel between office locations.
- Ability to work independently and lift up to 55 pounds.
- Strong decision-making, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact with team members at all levels.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Pay Information: The pay range for this role is $16.06 - $24.09, with pay decisions influenced by experience, education, skills, performance, and location. Successful candidates may also participate in incentive compensation programs. Qualifying associates will have access to a variety of benefits including medical coverage, a retirement savings plan, wellness programs, and more.
