Quality Assurance Inspector UH-60/S-70

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector specializing in UH-60/S-70 aircraft to conduct inspections on aircraft systems, subsystems, and avionics components. This role requires ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures and quality standards, reviewing and approving incoming materials, repaired parts, and inspection records. You will be responsible for performing component and shop inspections to verify specification compliance and ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts. Additionally, you will monitor safety, training, and certification requirements while assisting in troubleshooting and inspecting aircraft systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on UH-60 aircraft systems, subsystems, and avionics components.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and quality standards.
• Review and approve incoming materials, repaired parts, and inspection records.
• Perform component and shop inspections to verify specification compliance.
• Ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts.
• Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and inspecting aircraft systems.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years in aviation maintenance, with at least 2 years as an Aircraft Quality/Technical Inspector.
• Experience with UH-60 or other Sikorsky platforms (HH-60, SH-60, MH-60, CH-53).
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect airframe structural repairs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
• Avionics License is nice to have but not required.

Work Environment:

This role is based in an aircraft hangar with a Monday to Thursday work week. Be prepared to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Guntersville, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
