A Snapshot of Your Day QA Inspectors will provide inspection services both in-process and at final to drawing, specification and/or standard operating procedure within the Fort Payne Siemens Energy facility. QA Inspectors will inspect quality records and ensure these are correct and complete before the parts ship. All findings and nonconformances must be documented in detail via the adequate electronic systems. How You'll Make an Impact:

• Demonstrate integrity and a commitment to quality by standing up for high quality standards; proactively prevent parts from shipping when quality is a concern.
• Will take critical to quality (CTQ) dimensional measurements, and parameters applying standard and special gauging to ensure that product conforms.
• Will evaluate quality requirements to specification or drawing.
• Will document detailed findings via Quality Control Instruction (QCI), Quality Notification (QN), a power-point presentation format, or other form of written communication.
• Will validate quality paperwork for accuracies in the Operation Information Landscape (OIL) system, approve complete documents, and upload reports/records to SAP as required.
• Will communicate any out of specification condition followed by a quality hold or Quality Notifications (QN) as warranted.
• Will create QNs within SAP and task Manufacturing / design / quality engineer (ME/DE/QE) as required.
• Will conduct shop floor audits to ensure process are being followed.
• Will present results to engineering and management.
• Will participate in continuous improvement activities, workshops, and events as necessary.
