Our client, a leader in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Designs and implements complex system requirements for customers, ensuring hardware/software compatibility.
• Coordinates the design of subsystems and integrates total systems while resolving program support deficiencies.
• Provides technical assistance and conducts presentations to peers and customers to facilitate cooperation.
• Participates in the technical execution of projects with a combined value of up to $500k, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Reviews project hardware/software for compliance with applicable codes/standards and ensures safety practices are implemented.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Automation in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering related to industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency in programming PLC applications and HMI applications for local and network distributed applications.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites, including industrial plants and offshore platforms.
