Sterilization Technician - Dental Center
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterilization Technician to join our team. This essential role supports the smooth operation of our Dental Center by ensuring all instruments are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use, while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain supply orders to support daily operations.
* Attend team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
* Clean, sanitize, and organize dental instruments to ensure readiness and compliance with care standards.
* Follow OSHA guidelines and infection control protocols consistently.
* Sterilize instruments promptly upon receipt in central sterilization.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of all sterilization areas.
* Accurately log spore testing and sterilization cycles.
* Use tracking systems to monitor instruments throughout the sterilization process.
* Communicate equipment or supply issues to the Lead Sterilization Technician.
* Respond to provider requests for instruments and handpieces.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to support the Dental Center's goals.
Required Skills
* Sterilization and packaging of medical/dental instruments
* Infection control and OSHA compliance
* Inventory accuracy and system management
* Autoclaving procedures
* HSPA Certification (preferred)

* Ability to sort and store instruments correctly
* Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
* Task prioritization to meet procedural schedules
* Multitasking and time management
* Familiarity with dental and medical instruments
Experience Level
* Entry Level - Ideal for candidates looking to start or grow their career in dental support services.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
