Sterile Processing Tech Lead

Leads all sterile processing techs in day-to-day functions of SPD. Assembling, wrapping, packaging and sterilization of all reusable items in the Medical Center. Accurately prepares all case carts for Surgery in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring that the standards for AAMI/CMS are maintained to keep patient safe. Works to improve process and throughput. Works under the direction of Sterile Processing Manager and Surgical Services Director

Job Type: Full-time

Typical Hours: 2:30p-11:00p, shift may vary

Education: High School Diploma - Required

Certification & Licensures: CRCST or CSPD certified - required

Experience: Minimum 2 (two) years of experience as a sterile processing tech or surgical tech - required Competent in all areas of SPD, as determined by manager/director - required
