Sr Quality Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Sr Quality Engineer to support one of our largest clients in Indianapolis. The Quality Engineer will coordinate the activities required to meet quality standards and ensure products and services are a fit for their intended purpose, meeting internal and external requirements and customer expectations. The candidate will monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reports on performance and measures against set standards, implementing corrective actions and charting paths for improvement. The Quality Engineer will interact with personnel at all levels, including customers, technical personnel, supplier quality and leadership to ensure that the quality system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, they will advise on changes in their implementation and provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve enhanced quality. The Sr Quality Engineer is responsible for the quality of work required by the contract. They will plan, organize, control, and execute quality tasks required under the contract, ensuring that work is completed in strict compliance with contractual provisions within a Quality Management System in accordance with the latest version of AS9001.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM
• 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Process Improvement Experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• DOD or Aerospace experience
• Electrical background
• Six Sigma
• Experience with AS9001 Quality Systems and Audits
• Knowledge of EVM
