Principal Accountabilities:

• This role involves physical activity in a food processing environment, requiring moderate exertion and flexibility, including bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting objects occasionally over 50 pounds.
• Work in varied conditions (heat, cold, humidity) requires personal protective equipment and attention to safety protocols.
• Execute automation solutions for controlling plant processes and oversee electrical and instrumentation functions.
• Design and implement effective control strategies based on best practices.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify improvement areas and provide training on completed projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages.
• Able to troubleshoot and update various electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Proficient in reading and analyzing electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
• Pass an Electrical Aptitude Test.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Cargill.
• Understanding of continuous and batch process control strategies.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Able to configure and program various control systems, including PLC and HMI systems.
• Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance, planning, and scheduling.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens technologies in automation, electrical, or instrumentation.
• Expertise in implementing digital business technologies within a plant environment.
